In the first 15 minutes of the session, Razgatlioglu set the standard once again in brighter weather conditions, while Nicolo Bulega started strongly and found himself in the top four. The Lowes brothers, Alex and Sam, displayed their strength with Alex in second place and Sam comfortably in fifth.
As the session approached the 20-minute mark, Bulega showed his fighting spirit on the Ducati Panigale V4R, moving up to second place. Alvaro Bautista, who initially provided resistance, dropped to seventh, four positions behind Jonathan Rea.
