Iconland Property’s sales team has exhibited the Ownership Certificate for the Icon Apartment Tower A. The district of Gresik has made a new mark in the property sector as Icon Apartment Tower A has become the first apartment in Gresik to possess the Ownership Certificate for Individual Units in a Strata Title Building (SHMSRS).
This legality provides legal certainty for unit owners while also opening up new investment opportunities in a rapidly developing industrial area. The Icon Apartment project, which began construction in 2016, is strategically located in the heart of the industrial area of Gresik and is directly connected to Icon Mall.
The high interest from buyers is fueled by the prospect of growing transportation connectivity, including plans for developing a seaport and multimodal access in the region. “Location is the main consideration for buyers, apart from the potential increase in apartment investment value,” said Sabrina, Marketing Communication PT Raya Bumi Nusantara Permai, on Thursday (18/9/2025).
Meanwhile, the company’s Legal GA, Yunarni, stressed that the issuance of SHMSRS is a significant milestone because Icon Apartment is now recognized as the first apartment in Gresik with an official certificate. “With this certificate, the Deed of Sale and Purchase (AJB) process can be carried out promptly,” she said.
The issuance of SHMSRS went through a lengthy process and intensive coordination with various departments within the Gresik Regency Government. This achievement also marks a step forward in the regulations of vertical housing ownership in an area that is growing as the industrial and business center of East Java.
