President Prabowo Subianto has announced that 352 TNI soldiers will participate in the upcoming military parade to celebrate the 76th anniversary of the Republic of India in New Delhi on January 26, 2025. This significant announcement was made prior to his departure to India from Halim Perdana Kusuma Airbase in Jakarta during Thursday afternoon. Indonesia is thrilled and deeply honored by the invitation extended by the Indian government, allowing Indonesian troops, including Akmil cadets, to take part in the front row of India’s anniversary parade. The Indonesian contingent will comprise 352 TNI soldiers and cadets from the military academy, showcasing the strong bilateral relations between the two nations. President Prabowo’s agenda includes meetings with Indian President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, focusing on discussions regarding various aspects of bilateral cooperation and the signing of an MoU covering collaboration in the fields of health, culture, security, maritime safety, and technology. Moreover, engagements with Indian entrepreneurs interested in investing in Indonesia are also planned during his visit to further strengthen economic ties between the two countries.
